Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan has marked three years of impactful service as the representative of Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. In a heartfelt message of gratitude, he thanked the people of Badagry for their unwavering support, trust, prayers, and partnership throughout his tenure. He reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation, people-focused legislation, and sustainable development across the constituency. Hon. Whingan also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, National Assembly leaders, local government chairmen, party leaders, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders for their support. He emphasized that the journey toward a stronger, more prosperous, and united Badagry continues, assuring constituents that the best is yet to come.
My dear people of Badagry Federal Constituency,
Today, as we mark three years of purposeful service in the House of Representatives, I give all glory to God and express my deepest appreciation to every son and daughter of Badagry Federal Constituency for your unwavering support, trust, prayers, encouragement and partnership throughout this journey.
The confidence you reposed in me remains the driving force behind my commitment to quality representation, people-oriented legislation and impactful interventions aimed at improving the lives of our people. These three years have been filled with valuable experiences, achievements and lessons, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve.
As your representative, I reaffirm my commitment to the development and progress of Badagry. I will continue to represent our collective interests to the best of my ability, champion projects and policies that will bring greater opportunities to our people, and work tirelessly to attract more development to every part of our constituency.
I sincerely appreciate our leader and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for national development. I also thank the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for their continued commitment to the growth, development, and prosperity of Lagos State.
My profound appreciation also goes to the leadership of the National Assembly, particularly the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas; and the entire leadership and members of the National Assembly, for their cooperation and support in advancing policies and legislation that promote national growth.
My unalloyed gratitude also goes to Hon. Babatunde Hunpe, Executive Chairman of Badagry Local Government; Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon, Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA; and Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, Executive Chairman of Badagry West LCDA, for their cooperation, support, and dedication to the collective development of Badagry.
I also appreciate the Chairman of the Lagos State APC, Pastor Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi, the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), all party leaders across the state, the APC leadership in Badagry, our respected traditional rulers, religious leaders, community stakeholders, youths, women, and all residents of our constituency whose support and encouragement have strengthened our resolve to do more.
Together, we have made meaningful progress, and together, we shall continue to build a stronger, more prosperous and more united Badagry Federal Constituency.
